Vardot topped the list of winners by earning the gold prize in three categories, and one silver in another, within the proceedings of the Award ceremony of the Jordan Apps and Web Awards 2014 (JAWA) that was held in Amman on Sunday 8 June 2014 at the Hyatt Amman.
Prizes were awarded towards different categories for the work of Vardot in four websites. Vardot won a Gold Award for the design and development of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) website under the category of “Non-profit Organizations”. Vardot also won the Gold Award for “Corporate Websites” with its design and development of Al Hazaa Group Website. Furthermore, another Gold Award was prized for the development of Terhaal Adventures websites under the category of “Tourism and Travel”. And lastly, a silver prize was awarded in the category of “Forums and Online Communities” for the Al Jazeera Sharek website.
Vardot’s CEO, Mohammed Razem received the awards at the Gala where he expressed his thanks for the achievements made by the company and the clients. These awards are a representation of the delivery of excellence and high standards that Vardot works to achieve in all its projects.
The event and competition were organized by Media Scope to encourage all sectors to showcase their achievements, widen the opportunity for web expansion in the Arab region, and build the capacity of knowledge and information exchange.
