Vardot Represented the Middle East in Drupalcon Barcelona 2015

Sam Wendel

As one of the fastest growing Drupal development companies in the Middle East and North Africa, Vardot is proud to announce that we will be representing the region at DrupalCon Barcelona this coming September 21-25th. As MENA's sole sponsor of the event, Vardot will send a team of five, including CEO Mohammed J. Razem, to the conference—the largest such global gathering of Drupal influencers and organizations.

Vardot relishes the opportunity to travel to DrupalCon Barcelona for a week of learning, collaborating, and networking opportunities while also giving back to the Drupal community at the same time.

But we didn’t help sponsor DrupalCon Barcelona just so we can enjoy a week of late-summer tranquility in Spain (although we're not complaining). We helped sponsor DrupalCon Barcelona because giving back to the community is a mutually beneficial action—it makes both Vardot and the Drupal community stronger.

As an open source technology, Drupal is a progressive and freely available content management solution utilized by people all over the world—and it thrives because of community support.

Alongside cosponsors like  Acquia, Exove, Pantheon, and many more, we look forward to bringing our unique experiences using Drupal to build powerful multilingual websites to the conference.

Since launching in 2011, Vardot has developed powerful multilingual websites for clients like UNRWA, Al Jazeera, Georgetown, and numerous others by carefully integrating features that support right-to-left languages like Arabic with robust and beautiful designs.

By sharing our experience with others and hearing about other’s experiences, the Drupal community will continue to grow, evolve, and solidify itself as one of the most dynamic content management systems available. And as saturation of internet-capable devices continues to grow in the Middle East, we know that demand for Drupal backed websites in the region will continue to increase, and experienced development companies like Vardot will need to continue to grow and expand their capabilities to meet this demand.

We think sponsoring DrupalCon allows Vardot to gain valuable insight and connections while simultaneously bettering the larger Drupal community. DrupalCon brings together thousands of people from across the globe who use, develop, design, and support the Drupal platform, and we see participation in events like this as an investment in our own team.

We're proud to sponsor DrupalCon Barcelona and to continue improving the technology we rely on to build top-notch digital enterprise solutions.
