Multilingual publishing at enterprise scale is an architecture problem, not a translation problem. Most CMS platforms were built English-first with translation added later, forcing parallel workflows per language, fragmented governance, and inconsistent brand output across markets. A platform-level approach, with native multilingual support, RTL rendering, shared taxonomy, and centralized editorial governance, replaces per-language overhead with a single workflow spanning every market. Varbase, built on Drupal CMS 2.0, ships these capabilities as production-ready defaults rather than custom builds.
