Vardot Publishes Varbase and VarGive on Microsoft Marketplace

Vardot, a digital partner specializing in enterprise, open-source web platforms built on Drupal, today announced that it is a published independent software vendor on Microsoft Marketplace, with two platforms now available: the Varbase Enterprise Platform and the VarGive Enterprise Donations Platform.

Both are published as transactable offers, which means Microsoft bills, collects, and remits payment on Vardot's behalf. Customers can contract and pay through the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement or Microsoft Customer Agreement their procurement and legal teams have already approved, and the purchase appears as a line on an existing Microsoft invoice rather than as a new supplier to onboard.

For the organizations Vardot serves, the significance is procurement rather than payments. In nonprofit, intergovernmental, government, and higher education programmes, platform decisions are more often delayed by supplier registration, legal review, and procurement thresholds than by budget. Marketplace procurement lets an organization reuse an approval it has already granted to Microsoft.

The Listings

Negotiated pricing, terms, duration, and configuration are handled through private offers, which a publisher extends to one named customer for acceptance inside that customer's Microsoft portal. Related Vardot services, including implementation, migration, and support, are available through the same route and are delivered virtually.

Varbase is Vardot's enterprise Drupal distribution, built on Drupal CMS as an extension rather than a fork, with governed editorial workflow, security configuration, on-site SEO tooling, multilingual and right-to-left support, and AI capabilities applied as discrete recipes against the customer's own provider key.
